Smoothies. The easiest breakfast on the run, or for those fussy eaters in the house! Smoothies are so versatile as they can be adapted to suit your palate. Swop out or add in a nut butter, honey or nut milks to make this smoothie just right for you!

Method and Ingredients:

In a jug, soak the following overnight:

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 3/4 cup low fat milk/ nut milk
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp lin/ flax seeds
  • 3/4 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 3/4 cup plain fat free yoghurt
  • 2 T oat bran
  • 3 pitted dates, or 1 TBS honey
  • 1 Banana, sliced

Method:

Simply blend all the ingredients together until smooth.
ServeĀ  chilled.
